Income inequality for older people - EU-SILC survey

In 2024, Netherlands's income inequality for older people decreased by 1.4% compared to 2023, reaching 5.68.

Netherlands accounts for 69.1% of the EU-27 total of 8.22.

Netherlands ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.3% (from 6.06 in 2019).
