Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2014, Belgium's unemployment by sex and age increased by 1.2% compared to 2013, reaching 8.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 11.0%.

Belgium ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.7% (from 8.0% in 2009).
