Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2014, Netherlands's unemployment by sex and age increased by 2.4% compared to 2013, reaching 8.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 11.0%.

Netherlands ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 55.6% (from 5.4% in 2009).
