At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2014, Bulgaria's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.8% compared to 2013, reaching 21.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.3%.

Bulgaria ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.0% (from 21.8% in 2009).
