Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2016, Bulgaria's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 3.7% compared to 2015, reaching 5.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 12.7%.

Bulgaria ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 21.7% (from 4.6% in 2011).
