Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2022, Bulgaria's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 3.1% compared to 2021, reaching 6.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 13.2%.

Bulgaria ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.1% (from 5.9% in 2017).
