Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2023, Bulgaria's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 3.2% compared to 2022, reaching 6.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 13.0%.

Bulgaria ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.3% (from 5.8% in 2018).
