Fertility indicators

In 1965, Bulgaria's fertility indicators decreased by 4.6% compared to 1964, reaching 2.09.

Bulgaria ranks 12th out of 14 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 9.5% (from 2.31 in 1960).
