Fertility indicators

In 1967, Bulgaria's fertility indicators decreased by 0.5% compared to 1966, reaching 2.02.

Bulgaria ranks 12th out of 15 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 9.8% (from 2.24 in 1962).
