Population structure indicators at national level

In 2005, Bulgaria's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.7% compared to 2004, reaching 41.2.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 39.6.

Bulgaria ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.4% (from 39.1 in 2000).
