Population structure indicators at national level

In 2011, Bulgaria's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.4% compared to 2010, reaching 29.2.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 29.0.

Bulgaria ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.3% (from 28.0 in 2006).
