Population structure indicators at national level

In 2010, Bulgaria's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.1% compared to 2009, reaching 28.8.

The figure is in line with the EU-27 average of 28.8.

Bulgaria ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.2% (from 27.9 in 2005).
