Population structure indicators at national level

In 2019, Bulgaria's population structure indicators at national level increased by 3.3% compared to 2018, reaching 37.9.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 34.1.

Bulgaria ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 17.3% (from 32.3 in 2014).
