Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2019, Bulgaria's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 2.3% compared to 2018, reaching 8.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.1%.

Bulgaria ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 14.1% (from 7.8% in 2014).
