Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2019, Germany's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 1.2% compared to 2018, reaching 16.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 14.1%.

Germany ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.3% (from 16.2% in 2014).
