Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2022, Bulgaria's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 1.3% compared to 2021, reaching 30.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 40.4%.

Bulgaria ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.7% (from 29.7% in 2017).
