Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2006, Bulgaria's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 1.4% compared to 2005, reaching 21.9%.

The figure is in line with the EU-27 average of 21.9%.

Bulgaria ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.8% (from 21.3% in 2001).
