Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2008, Bulgaria's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 1.8% compared to 2007, reaching 22.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 23.1%.

Bulgaria ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.0% (from 21.3% in 2003).
