In 2015, Bulgaria's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 21.5% compared to 2014, reaching 12,035.

Bulgaria ranks 17th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 49.9% (from 24,005 in 2010).
