Nights spent at tourist accommodation establishments

In 1999, Bulgaria's nights spent at tourist accommodation establishments decreased by 13.1% compared to 1998, reaching 7,499,798.

Bulgaria ranks 21st out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 32.6% (from 11,132,370 in 1994).
