Nights spent at tourist accommodation establishments

In 2001, Bulgaria's nights spent at tourist accommodation establishments increased by 9.7% compared to 2000, reaching 9,384,506.

Bulgaria ranks 21st out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.3% (from 9,806,290 in 1996).
