Nights spent at tourist accommodation establishments

In 2002, Bulgaria's nights spent at tourist accommodation establishments increased by 9.6% compared to 2001, reaching 10,285,668.

Bulgaria ranks 21st out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 21.0% (from 8,501,641 in 1997).
