At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2018, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.9% compared to 2017, reaching 15.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.8%.

Cyprus ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.7% (from 15.3% in 2013).
