At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2019, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.9% compared to 2018, reaching 15.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.5%.

Cyprus ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.9% (from 14.4% in 2014).
