At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2025, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 2.1% compared to 2024, reaching 14.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.3%.

Cyprus ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.7% (from 14.8% in 2020).
