At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2011, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 1.6% compared to 2010, reaching 12.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.1%.

Cyprus ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.3% (from 11.5% in 2006).
