Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2007, Cyprus's population change increased by 2.9% compared to 2006, reaching 7.0.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.7.

Cyprus ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 4.1% (from 7.3 in 2002).
