Early leavers from education and training by labour status

In 2024, Cyprus's early leavers from education and training by labour status increased by 8.7% compared to 2023, reaching 11.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 9.4%.

Cyprus ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 25.6% (from 9.0% in 2019).
