Early leavers from education and training by labour status

In 2024, Romania's early leavers from education and training by labour status increased by 1.2% compared to 2023, reaching 16.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 9.4%.

Romania ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.8% (from 15.3% in 2019).
