Employment rates by citizenship

In 2025, Cyprus's employment rates by citizenship increased by 1.8% compared to 2024, reaching 72.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 66.6%.

Cyprus ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.5% (from 65.5% in 2020).
