Employment rates by citizenship

In 2007, Cyprus's employment rates by citizenship increased by 0.8% compared to 2006, reaching 80.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 71.6%.

Cyprus ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.5% (from 78.8% in 2002).
