Population on 1 January by age and sex

In 1982, Cyprus's population on 1 january by age and sex increased by 2.3% compared to 1981, reaching 259,938.

Cyprus ranks 23rd out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.5% (from 248,700 in 1977).
