Population on 1 January by age and sex

In 1983, Cyprus's population on 1 january by age and sex increased by 0.4% compared to 1982, reaching 260,904.

Cyprus ranks 23rd out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.7% (from 246,800 in 1978).
