Population on 1 January by age and sex

In 1984, Cyprus's population on 1 january by age and sex increased by 1.3% compared to 1983, reaching 264,416.

Cyprus ranks 23rd out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.5% (from 248,200 in 1979).
