Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2007, Cyprus's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 2.2% compared to 2006, reaching 8.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 13.7%.

Cyprus ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.5% (from 7.8% in 2002).
