Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2006, Cyprus's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 4.3% compared to 2005, reaching 8.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 13.9%.

Cyprus ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 14.1% (from 7.8% in 2001).
