Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2020, Cyprus's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 0.8% compared to 2019, reaching 35.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 40.9%.

Cyprus ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.3% (from 35.4% in 2015).
