Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2021, Cyprus's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 0.3% compared to 2020, reaching 35.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 41.0%.

Cyprus ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.5% (from 34.2% in 2016).
