Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2023, Cyprus's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 5.4% compared to 2022, reaching 37.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 39.7%.

Cyprus ranks 12th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.5% (from 34.7% in 2018).
