In 2021, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate of households without dependent children by work intensity increased by 8.6% compared to 2020, reaching 46.8.

Cyprus accounts for 86.5% of the EU-27 total of 54.1.

Cyprus ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.3% (from 45.3 in 2016).
