In 2022, Cyprus's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 30.6% compared to 2021, reaching 1,128.

Cyprus ranks 22nd out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 23.3% (from 1,470 in 2017).
