In 2022, Sweden's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 5.1% compared to 2021, reaching 69,327.

Sweden ranks 5th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 23.0% (from 89,981 in 2017).
