Share of women researchers in all sectors

In 2021, Cyprus's share of women researchers in all sectors increased by 1.2% compared to 2020, reaching 37.8%.

Cyprus ranks 11th out of 21 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.5% (from 36.9% in 2016).
