Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2025, Cyprus's unemployment by sex and age increased by 3.8% compared to 2024, reaching 13.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.2%.

Cyprus ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 23.3% (from 17.6% in 2020).
