At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2022, Czechia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.5% compared to 2021, reaching 11.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.4%.

Czechia ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.7% (from 11.6% in 2017).
