At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2019, Czechia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 16.9% compared to 2018, reaching 16.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.0%.

Czechia ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 137.1% (from 7.0% in 2014).
