At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2019, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 35.9% compared to 2018, reaching 8.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.0%.

Slovakia ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 40.3% (from 6.2% in 2014).
