At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2022, Czechia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 14.1% compared to 2021, reaching 8.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 15.6%.

Czechia ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.6% (from 7.6% in 2017).
