Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 1990, Czechia's population change increased by 1.6% compared to 1989, reaching 12.6.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 12.2.

Czechia ranks 14th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 3.8% (from 13.1 in 1985).
