Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 1990, Czechia's population change increased by 1.6% compared to 1989, reaching 12.5.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 10.3.

Czechia ranks 3rd out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.6% (from 12.7 in 1985).
